For the first time ever in any e-commerce platform in the world, you can buy your self a brand spanking new Volkswagen car from Lazada. There was no announcement from the car manufacturer or the e-commerce platform about this and we just so happen to find out about this from a source.
However, you can only find the car listings on the app and it seems like you cant see the listing on the desktop version. Currently, there are only three listed cars, the Herbie 53 in White and Silver, and the Hot Bug.
Going through the page, it seems like you would need to do a first time payment of RM5000 on the app to book the car and from there, you will get a Welcome Kit which consists of a Beetle Booklet, Volkswagen Keychain and a limited edition Beetle Touch n Go card pre-loaded with RM100. Other than that, you will also be getting a VWTint worth RM2100 for free.
We are not sure if this is an accidental posting or it was intended as a teaser, but based on the listing, these limited edition Beetles will be available for purchase on the 12 to 14 December 2017. If you have the Lazada app on your phone, just search Volkswagen and you will see the listings for your self.
