If you’re a gamer, chances are good that you’ve heard of a little game called Overwatch. Well, Overwatch has just hit a major milestone as Blizzard announced that the game now has over 7 million players and counting.
Accoridng to the California-based games company, ever since the launch of Overwatch nearly two weeks ago, a total of over 7 million gamers have been busy fighting each other across the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and on PC. Statistics show that the players have collectively logged more than 119 million hours of gameplay, making Overwatch one of the most successful global game launches of all time.
“Over the months and weeks leading up to release, we saw a lot of love and support for Overwatch – from Blizzard gamers, FPS fans, and people who’d never picked up a game like this before – and we’re very grateful for everyone’s incredible passions and enthusiasm.
