Firstly, the ASUS RT-AC5300 is an ultra-high-performance tri-band wireless router that features a Broadcom NitroQAM technology, with a 4×4 (4-transmit, 4-receive) MIMO antenna array on all three of the bands. Targeted at gamers and media lovers, this router allows low-latency gaming as well as smooth 4K/UHD video streaming and file sharing.
The ASUS RT-AC88U also features ASUS AiRadar and universal beamforming to support multi-device, as well as the same buit-in gaming accelerator powered by GPN from WTFast, just like the RT-AC5300. In addition, the RT-AC88U include support for 802.3ad Link Aggregation, which allows two Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports to be combined into a 2Gbit/s wired connection.
