ASUS Malaysia announces the Fonepad 7 FE375CG, the first 64-bit Android tablet in the market

We know ASUS is cooking something up interesting in IFA 2014, however it seems that our friends at ASUS Malaysia have one great stuff to excite us as well, the ASUS Fonepad 7 FE375CG is now available in Malaysia, this is the first tablet to be powered by Intel’s Atom Z3560 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz with 1GB of RAM, it also features a whole new design that is lighter and narrower than its predecessor.

With the 64-bit Intel processor onboard, the Fonepad 7 FE375CG will boast a battery life of up to 10.5 hours on video playback and continuous web browsing, it will also have 20 hours of rated talk-time over 3G networks. On the other hand, we also find a standard 1280×800 IPS display, 5 Megapixel main camera and 2 Megapixel front camera with Pixelmaster technology. TheFonepad 7 FE375CG is dual SIM capable with DC-HSPA+ network support and comes preloaded with Android 4.4 KitKat and ZenUI.

The Fonepad 7 FE375CG will come with 8GB of built-in memory with MicroSD expansion up to 64GB, the phablet is now available at local IT resellers and ASUS authorized stores nationwide at a price of RM649.
