The highlight of the event is the Acer Predator Helios 300 which features Acer’s own AeroBlade 3D fan, the world’s thinnest metal blade fan that gives an increased 35% airflow performance, giving you a cooler and more comfortable gaming experience.
Predator Helios 300
The Helios 300 comes equipped with an overclockable NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ desktop grade processor 8GB DDR4 RAM, a fast 256GB SSD storage coupled with a 1TB HDD. On the ecstatics side of the laptop, it comes with an iron red backlit keyboard that provides a great look and feel to the laptop. If the provided hardware is not enough, you will be glad to know that the memory and storage can be easily upgraded through the access compartment at the bottom of the laptop.
For the display, you will be getting a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display for beautiful and vibrant gaming and for audio, the device comes equipped with Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony to deliver an even more immersive and crisp sound quality. Never complain about lag again with the fast 2×2 802.11ac technology that includes a Gigabit Ethernet port for those that need a smooth online game play. As for the I/O ports, it will come with a USB 3.1 Type-C port, USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI 2.0 port if the screen does not do your game justice.
Acer Nitro 5
The second gaming device from Acer is the Acer Nitro 5 Â that comes equipped with a 7th-Gen Core i5 or core i7, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card, and it supports up to 16GB DDR4 2400 MHz. The Nitro 5 coolings are achieved with the Acer Coolboost which optimized the system cooling but it will still allow the user to manually control the cooling process, a good feature for heavy gamers. For Internet Connectivity, gamers will be glad to know that the laptop comes equipped with the 802.11ac 2×2 MIMO wireless technology for blazing fast connections. As for the I/O ports, Acer has included USB 3.1 Type-C port, one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 port, and an HDMI 2.0.
