CMF has expanded beyond phones, wearables and audio accessories with its first portable speaker range. The new CMF Speaker S and Speaker M share the brand’s geometric styling, but target different listening needs: the smaller model is designed to travel, while the larger one promises more room-filling sound.
Both speakers support Bluetooth 6.0, Auracast-based Party Mode, stereo pairing, IP68 dust and water resistance, and up to 18 hours of playback. CMF says the two models will be sold in Malaysia, although local pricing and a launch date have not been confirmed yet.
CMF Speaker S keeps things compact

The Speaker S is the more portable option, with an upright body that can slip into a bag or attach to a strap or carabiner through its built-in mounting point. It uses a custom-tuned 45mm full-range driver with two passive radiators, producing up to 10W RMS across a claimed 70Hz to 20kHz frequency range.
The larger Speaker M adds an integrated handle and a dual-driver, closed-box design. Its 25W woofer and 10W tweeter deliver a combined 35W RMS output, with a claimed 60Hz to 20kHz response. CMF positions it as the more powerful choice for a room, desk or small gathering.
Adaptive sound and multi-speaker playback
CMF says a hardware-level Adaptive Tuning system continuously analyses playback and adjusts the output and EQ in real time. Ultra Bass can add more low-end impact, while Wide Soundstage aims to create a broader presentation from a single speaker. The Nothing X app also offers Balanced, More Bass, More Treble and Voice presets.
Owners can pair two identical Speaker S units or two identical Speaker M units for separate left and right channels in Stereo Mode. Party Mode uses Auracast to synchronise audio across two or more compatible speakers, including supported models from other brands.
Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C audio and IP68 protection
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.0, NFC tap-to-pair, Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. Dual-device support keeps the speaker connected to two sources, while USB-C audio provides a wired digital option for music, movies and gaming. Auto Wake can place a speaker on external power into standby and wake it when a paired device reconnects.
A physical knob controls playback, track navigation, volume and Ultra Bass, joined by dedicated buttons for power, Bluetooth pairing and Auracast. Both models carry an IP68 rating, with CMF claiming protection against dust and submersion in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for up to 30 minutes under laboratory conditions.
Battery life is rated at up to 18 hours at 50% volume with Ultra Bass enabled, while a 10-minute charge is said to provide up to one hour of playback. Actual endurance will vary with volume, content, wireless conditions and other settings.
Malaysia availability is coming later
The CMF Speaker S and Speaker M will be offered in White, Dark Grey, Orange and Turquoise. Their front panels and knobs are swappable, and CMF says it will support standardised 3D-printable custom designs for users who want to change their appearance.
CMF has not announced Malaysian prices or an exact release date. The company says those details will be shared at a later date.
