Acer Malaysia has officially launched the Predator Helios 18 AI, bringing its latest flagship gaming laptop to the local market following its debut at COMPUTEX 2026. Designed for enthusiasts, esports competitors and professional creators, the Predator Helios 18 AI combines Intel’s latest Core Ultra processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics and an advanced cooling system to deliver desktop-class gaming performance in a portable form factor. Alongside the new gaming powerhouse, Acer also introduced the Acer PM191Q E portable monitor and AH101 monitor stand, expanding its productivity ecosystem for professionals and mobile users.
Desktop-Class Gaming Performance Meets Premium Display
At the heart of the Predator Helios 18 AI is Intel’s Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor, capable of boosting up to 5.5GHz and paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU for demanding AAA games, AI workloads and creative applications. Acer also offers an RTX 5080 configuration for users looking for flagship performance at a lower price point. The laptop comes equipped with up to 48GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD out of the box, while supporting upgrades of up to 256GB RAM and 6TB of SSD storage for users with heavier workloads.
The gaming experience is complemented by an expansive 18-inch WQUXGA 4K Mini LED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR brightness of up to 1,000 nits and full DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. Whether gaming, editing videos or working on creative projects, the display delivers exceptional colour accuracy, sharpness and smooth motion.
Advanced Cooling, Premium Audio and High-Speed Connectivity
To keep temperatures under control during extended gaming sessions, Acer has equipped the Predator Helios 18 AI with its sixth-generation AeroBlade 3D cooling system, featuring ultra-thin 0.05mm metal fan blades, vector heat pipes and liquid metal thermal compound to maximise cooling efficiency. Audio is equally impressive thanks to Acer’s six-speaker Predator Vox system, engineered to provide immersive spatial sound with minimal distortion even at higher volumes.
The premium gaming experience is rounded off with per-key RGB lighting, the latest Predator MagKey 4.0 mechanical switches, Killer DoubleShot Pro networking with Wi-Fi 7 and Ethernet, as well as dual Thunderbolt 5 ports that provide ultra-fast connectivity for external displays, storage and other high-performance peripherals.
Acer PM191Q E Portable Monitor and Pricing
Complementing the Predator Helios 18 AI, Acer Malaysia also introduced the PM191Q E, Malaysia’s first 18.5-inch Full HD IPS portable monitor supporting up to a 100Hz refresh rate. Designed for professionals and mobile users, it weighs only 1.13kg and supports single-cable USB-C connectivity for both power and display. Acer also launched the AH101 portable monitor stand, offering tilt, swivel and height adjustments with support for both 75mm and 100mm VESA mounting.
The Predator Helios 18 AI is available immediately through authorised Acer resellers and the Acer eStore. The RTX 5090 model with 48GB RAM is priced at RM19,999, while the RTX 5080 model with 36GB RAM retails for RM17,999. Customers purchasing either variant before 12 July 2026 will receive a complimentary Acer PM161Q portable monitor worth RM349 while stocks last.
The Acer PM191Q E will be available from 6 July 2026 at RM469, while the AH101 portable monitor stand is priced at RM99. During the launch promotion from 6 to 12 July, the monitor will be available for RM369, with the AH101 stand offered at RM59 as a purchase-with-purchase deal.
