Infinix has officially launched the new Infinix NOTE Edge in Malaysia, positioning it as a premium-feeling yet affordable 3D curved-screen smartphone designed for users who want style, endurance, and all-around performance in a slim form factor.

Marketed as the latest addition to the Infinix lineup, the NOTE Edge focuses on visible luxury, exceptional battery life, and modern 5G capabilities. Infinix highlights its industry-leading 6500mAh battery with a self-repairing system, paired with the world’s first MediaTek Dimensity 7100 platform, all housed within an ultra-slim 7.2mm body. The company says this combination delivers noticeable upgrades in design, performance, imaging, battery endurance, and smart features for the mid-range segment.

From a design perspective, the NOTE Edge features a Pearl Light Ripple Shadow exterior that introduces cat’s-eye gemstone-inspired textures across four colourways: Lunar Titanium, Silk Green, Stellar Blue, and Shadow Black. The Silk Green variant stands out with a polyurethane water-wave brushed texture that mimics a leather-like surface, shimmering subtly under sunlight. The remaining colours use high-strength composite materials with layered matte finishes that shift elegantly with light and angle.

The front is dominated by a cinema-grade 1.5K 3D curved display built with self-luminous materials for sharp visuals and better energy efficiency. The screen is framed by ultra-narrow bezels as slim as 1.87mm, while peak brightness reaches 4,500 nits for clear outdoor visibility. Audio is handled by JBL dual stereo speakers tuned for deeper bass and clearer mids and highs, complementing the display for an immersive multimedia experience. For durability, the curved panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, while the device carries an IP65 dust and water resistance rating.

Performance-wise, the NOTE Edge debuts globally with the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset, which Infinix says strikes a strong balance between speed and efficiency. The phone scores over 810,000 points on AnTuTu V11, supports up to 90fps gaming in popular titles, and benefits from 13 joint 5G optimisations with MediaTek for better connectivity in crowded or obstructed environments. Infinix also introduces its Ultra Powerful Signal 3.0 AI Super Signal technology, which dynamically optimises network performance to improve coverage in challenging areas such as underground parking, subways, or remote locations.

Battery life is a key highlight. The NOTE Edge houses a massive 6500mAh battery inside a 7.2mm body weighing 185g, allowing for up to 26 hours of Google Maps navigation or 22 hours of YouTube playback. Infinix’s self-repairing battery system uses a low-current process to heal micro-cracks when fully drained, enabling over 80 percent capacity retention after 2,000 full charge cycles, which the company estimates is equivalent to around six years of typical use. Charging supports up to 45W in Hyper Mode, reaching 50 percent in 27 minutes and full charge in 62 minutes.

On the software side, the NOTE Edge runs XOS 16 based on Android 16, featuring Glow Space visual elements for a lighter and smoother interface. The phone offers up to 8GB of RAM with optional MemFusion expansion to 16GB, supported by Perception Scheduling 3.0 optimisation for stable multitasking. A side-mounted custom button instantly activates the FOLAX AI assistant, which can analyse screen content, provide quick answers, translate in real time, and summarise long recordings. Infinix also promises three major Android-based XOS upgrades up to XOS 19, along with five years of security updates.

For photography, the device features a customised 50MP main camera with a 1/2-inch sensor and 0.8μm pixels, optimised for low-light shooting in neon-lit streets, dim interiors, and backlit scenes. A new Live Photo mode records three-second clips with audio, allowing users to scrub through footage and export GIFs or MP4 videos for social media. Built-in AI tools also enable one-tap photo editing in the gallery, alongside SnapMemo for better information organisation.

Priced at RM999, the Infinix NOTE Edge is positioned as a stylish yet capable mid-range smartphone that caters to young urban professionals who value design, battery life, and performance. The device goes on sale from Wednesday, 4 February 2026, available through Infinix’s official TikTok Shop online store, as well as Infinix Brand Stores and authorised dealers nationwide. Buyers will receive free gifts worth RM109, including a phone case, strap, and tempered glass.
