The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is one of the most anticipated flagship phones set to launch this year, good thing is — we just got a definite date when the series will launch next month.
Based on a report by Korean news media DDaily, a Samsung official disclosed that the Galaxy S22 series will be unveiled during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event that’s happening on 8 February. Before that, the company will start sending out invitations to the event by the end of this month.
UPDATE: The Galaxy Unpacked event has been officially confirmed to be held on 9 February.
In line with our previous reports, the Galaxy S22 series will consists of three models — a vanilla S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. Depending on the region, the series will feature either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200.
The Galaxy S22 is said to feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED display while the Galaxy S22 Ultra will sport a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED display. We don’t have to wait long for the series’ debut so stay tuned as we provide you with more updates.
