Few months after the release of the POCO X3 GT, POCO have just had their Global Launch Event where they introduced their new latest mid-range smartphone – the POCO M4 Pro 5G.
This device features a new design, with new color’s such as power black, cool blue and POCO yellow. The front panel sports a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 front, that comes in a size of 163.56mm x 75.78mm x 8.75mm and the device weighing at 195g.
The POCO M4 Pro 5G’s display also got an upgrade with a 6.6” FDH+ DotDisplay, 240hz touch sampling rate and a 90hz refresh rate. POCO have even kept their DynamicSwitch technology that can change your refresh rate and added DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. This all comes in a resolution of 2400 x 1080p, with a brightness of 450 nits.
The internal specifications have also been enhanced and the POCO M4 Pro 5G now contains a MediaTek Dimensity 810 paired with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Alongside this, the device has up to 6GB DDR4 RAM and up to 128GB which is expandable to 1TB. POCO also mentioned that this device is using the MIUI 12.5 OS that supports 5G capabilities.
The POCO M4 Pro 5G, has an upgrade to its battery life with a 5000mAh Battery that supports a 35W Pro fast charge that POCO claim will give you a full charge in 59 minutes.
The camera has some changes as well, with a dual camera system that has its first ever 50MP main camera, new 119° 8MP ultra-wide and a night mode. They have even kept their software features with time-lapse, panorama selfie, slow-motion, kaleidoscope and extra gallery features.
Other features included are the dual speakers, X-axis linear motor, doubletap shortcuts, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC support.
You can get the POCO M4 Pro 5G on POCO Official Stores on Lazada and Shopee in Malaysia when it arrives on the 11th of November. This smartphone will be retailed at RM849 for the 4GB+64GB variation and RM999 for the 6GB+128GB variation respectively. However, for a limited time, this device can be bought at an early-bird price that goes for RM749 for the 4GB+64GB option and RM899 for the 6GB+128GB option respectively, via POCO’s official Shopee store.
