Man, India gets the most interesting tech products – one of the latest to arrive to the Indian market is the Nokia Purebook X14, the Finnish company’s first laptop since the Nokia Booklet 3G mini laptop from 2009.

As the name suggests, the laptop packs a 14-inch FHD IPS display, plus a fairly rugged, albeit simple, design. The laptop is all black and also has a glossy touchpad of that boasts a darker shade of the colour. Its design is Lenovo-esque with its squarish chassis and blocky keycaps.

Speaking of which, the keyboard is backlit and offers adjustable brightness. There’s an IR webcam for Windows Hello facial recognition too.

Under the hood is an Intel Core i5-10210U CPU along with the UHD 620 integrated GPU. It’s not the most powerful system out there, which is fine considering the Purebook X14 is more business-centric. For memory and storage, you get up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of storage thanks to a NVMe SSD.

When it comes to I/O ports, you get 3x USB Type A (2x 3.1 and 1x 2.0), 1x USB 3.1 Type-C. There’s a HDMI port, one ethernet jack, and headphone jack as well. The laptop packs a 46.7Wh battery which Nokia claims can last you 8 hours.

The Nokia Purebook X14 is priced INR59,990 (about RM3,310) and will go on sale this December 18 via Flipkart. There’s no word when the device will arrive in Malaysia, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted when we get more information.
