The RedMagic 5S is nubia’s latest gaming phone that was launched in July in China. Now, the phone is available globally at a starting price of $579.

Display

The RedMagic 5S is similar to the ROG Phone 3 that supports a 144Hz refresh rate display, but it’s slightly larger at 6.65 inches. It comes with an AMOLED display and has built-in shoulder triggers that are paired with a 320Hz touch sampling rate.

Cooling system

This gaming phone also has an impressive cooling system that consists of the ICE 4.0 active liquid-cooling technology, a turbofan system and an Ice Dock cooling attachment that can further cool down the phone.

Internal specs

Under the hood, the RedMagic 5S is powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G connectivity and has up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It’s also packed with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 55W charging, so gamers can enjoy long gaming sessions.

Camera

As for its cameras, this phone comes with a 64MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, you’ll be getting an 8MP selfie camera.

RedMagic 5S ships to over 40 countries
