Nubia couldn’t show off its Red Magic 5G at MWC since the show was cancelled, but it will be announcing its phone on March 12. While Nubia’s previous phone models have been solely focused on gaming, Nubia is making sure this upcoming phone will also excel in photography.
The Red Magic 5G has several of its specs confirmed; this includes the Snapdragon 865 chipset, a 144Hz refresh rate display and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Now, the company has also revealed the phone will be featuring a 64MP triple camera setup that will be using the Sony IMX686 sensor for its main lens.
Nubia CEO Ni Fei even shared some of its sample photos and a video to demonstrate the phone camera’s capabilities. In the video, the Red Magic 5G showed great stabilization while it’s recording a skateboarder.
Previously, Nubia has already mentioned that the phone will come with air-cool liquid cooling technology that can dissipate heat evenly and more efficiently. Now, the company announced that the phone will be shipped with a 55W fast charger. This will be convenient for gamers out there, especially since the phone is expected to have a 4,500mAh battery.
