The OPPO Reno series was quite unique thanks to its pivot rising structure camera design. It was launched in Malaysia near the end of May and now just three months later, OPPO will be launching OPPO Reno 2 series in India.
Set to launch on August 28, OPPO VP Shen Yiren revealed the phone’s capability in camera stabilisation. He shared a video comparing the stabilisation between OPPO Reno 2 and another device in which the Reno 2 seemed to be doing much better as it has OIS.
In addition to that, the company also unveiled a few specifications regarding the OPPO Reno 2. The phone will sport a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and have a 93.1% screen-to-body ratio. Just like the OPPO Reno series, the new device will also come with under-display fingerprint sensor.
Apart from that, the Reno 2 is said to have a Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will also have better processing, HDR10 Gaming support, Game Assistant and also a 4,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging.
As for its cameras, the Reno 2 is said to come with a quad-camera setup. The main camera will be Samsung’s 48MP lens, alongside a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth camera.
