In addition to the launch of HUAWEI Nova 4, the company has also decided to launch the HUAWEI MediaPad T5 during its launch event yesterday.
The MediaPad T5 is a 10.1-inch tablet with Full HD Vivid display with a metal body. It offers a 16:10 aspect ratio with 1920 x 1200 resolution, and it has dual speakers with HUAWEI Histen audio technology that provides ultra-wide 3D sound field for a cinematic experience.
Under the hood, the MediaPad T5 comes with a Kirin 659 processor and has 3GB RAM paired with 32GB storage. It is also shipped with EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0.
In addition to that, the MediaPad T5 also has a 5MP rear camera with f/2.4 aperture with autofocus whereas the front 2MP camera has f/2.4 aperture with fixed focus.
The MediaPad T5 has 5100mAh battery, and can be charged via microUSB. Besides that, the tablet comes in an eye-comfort mode that decrease the amount of blue light so that users can read even in dark lightings without excessively harming their eyesights. Parents can also utilise the Children’s Corner feature which allows parental controls such as managing apps their children can use and how long they’re allowed to use each app.
The HUAWEI MediaPad T5 comes in Black or Champagne Gold and can be purchased for the price of RM999. It will be available from 28 February 2019 on its online store and users who purchase it can also get a free flip case worth RM119.
