HMD Global has announced the availability of the Nokia 2.1 which goes on sale today. The successor to the Nokia 2 comes with Android Oreo Go Edition which is a lightweight version of the Android operating system that can run on only 1GB of RAM.
HMD Global has claimed that the Nokia 2.1 offers 50% performance boost over its predecessor and comes with a 5.5-inch HD aside from the dual front-facing stereo speakers. Other than that, it comes with a Snapdragon 425 processor, 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The phone will give you two-days of battery life thanks to the massive 4,000mAh battery that is powering the phone. With Android Go, users will not have to worry about performance as the Go apps have been tailored to work with low-spec phones and because of its lightweight apps, users will not have to worry about their data draining faster than usual.
The Nokia 2.1 will come in two colours, Blue with Copper lining and Gray with Silver lining. The phone can be purchased from all authorised Nokia retailers for RM415.
