Huawei’s Nova series of smartphones are one of the main mid range handsets for the company. The Nova handsets might feature Huawei’s mid range chipsets instead of the flagship ones, but these phones are definitely impressive in their own strides. Huawei has since teased yet another upcoming Nova smartphone which might be unveiled before the Huawei Mate 10.
The Huawei Mate 10 has been confirmed for an October launch after the press invite leaked prematurely before being officially sent out. The upcoming Huawei flagship will be launched at an event in Munich, Germany on the 16th of October. Huawei has released a teaser image of a new Nova smartphone which might sport two sets of dual camera setups – one on the front and one on the back.
Why that hint? The teaser image only shows a “#OOOO”, which likely translates to dual cameras, and 4 “O”s would probably mean that we will be seeing a front facing dual cam configuration as well. A front facing dual camera will translate to possibly sharper selfie images, and depth of field effects for a good selfie portrait. It looks like Huawei is going heavy on its optics for its own smartphones. What do you think?
