ASUS Malaysia has launched The Edge of Beyond which is an introduction to a lineup of thin and light ZenBook and VivoBook laptops that pushes the boundaries of design and technology to deliver the best mobile computing experience. Some of the laptops that were shown include ZenBook Flip S, ZenBook 3 Deluxe, ZenBook Pro, VivoBook S15 and VivoBook Pro 15
ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe
The ZenBook 3 Deluxe comes equipped with an Intel Core i7-7500U processor, 16GB of 2133MHz LPDDR 3 Ram, up to 1TB PCI Express SSD, two USB Type-C ports which are Thunderbolt 3 enabled dual 4K UHD external display support and comes with Windows 10 equipped with a fingerprint sensor. This laptop will retail for RM8,299 and is available now.
ASUS ZenBook Pro
This laptop comes equipped with 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050 graphics, 512GB PCIe x4 SDD and 16GB DDR4 RAM. It will be able to stand up to 14 hours on the battery and for entertainment purposes, it will come with a 15.6-inch FHD NanoEdge display coupled with Harmon Kardon surround-sound audio for the best media consumption device. The ZenBook Pro will retail for RM7,299 and is available from the beginning of August.
ASUS ZenBook Flip S
The ZenBook Flip S is the world’s thinnest convertible laptop, coming in at only 10.9mm thin and 1.1KG in weight, with the innovative 360 degrees ErgoLift hinge which can lift and tilt the keyboard to give you the perfect typing position when open beyond 135 degrees. It will come with an Intel Core i7-7500U processor, 512GB PCIe SSD and for cooling, it will come installed with a liquid-crystal polymer fan impeller that is 0.3mm thin. Finally, the FHD multitouch NanoEdge display will support active stylus for extra convenience. The ZenBook Flip S will retail for RM6,699 and is available beginning of August.
ASUS VivoBook Pro 15
The VivoBook Pro 15 is powered by Intel 7th-Gen Core i7-7700HQ processor, 4GB DDR4, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics with an intelligent dual-fan cooling system with dual-copper thermal module and heat pipes to ensure the system stays cool during long gaming sessions or under heavy loads. The 15.6-inch screen features a wide 100 percent sRGB colour gamut and comes with Harman Kardon-certified audio. The laptop will retail for RM4,799 and will be available beginning of August.
ASUS VivoBook S15
Finally, we come to the VivoBook S15 made mainly for users that are always on-the-go, it comes with a 17.9mm profile and weights 1.5kg. Internally it will come with 7th Generation Intel i7-7500U processor, 4GB DDR4 RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics. The laptop will retail for RM3,699 for the i7 variant and RM2,899 for the i5 variant and is available beginning of July.
