Russian smartphone maker YotaPhone has been known for its handsets of the same name that have secondary E-Ink screens. After launching two iterations of the YotaPhone, the company has finally made a come back more than three years since the YotaPhone 2. Introducing the YotaPhone 3, which is ever so slightly an improvement over its predecessor.

First off, YotaPhone is still implementing its trademark dual screen for the YotaPhone 3. You’ll find a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display on the front and a 5.2-inch E-Ink display on the back panel of the device. Underneath the hood, the YotaPhone 3 is powered by a mid range Snapdragon 625 processor which matches earlier rumors, along with 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage.

Aside from those, the rest aren’t as special like the camera department for instance. The YotaPhone 3 sports a 12MP rear facing camera and a 13MP selfie camera for your photography needs, which is not your usual combination of back and front shooters. With a 3,300mAh battery, the phone should be able to get you through the day without a hitch, considering that the E-Ink display isn’t that much of a battery drainer.

The YotaPhone 3 will begin selling in China first as the Russian company sees a huge potential in the Chinese market. The phone will begin with a price of 2,398 CNY (RM 1540.72).
