A couple of months back, Xiaomi announced the Mi Note Pro which wasn’t available at that time and the phone has just gotten official, the phone’s hardware internals are confirmed with the following – a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and a 5.7-inch QHD (2560×1440) IPS Display with 2.5D Glass.

If you are worried with the overheating issue of the Snapdragon 810, fret not as Xiaomi has claimed to solve that issue despite having a slim body profile at 6.95 mm thin, the company uses double layered graphite cooling fins in the phone to dissipate heat of the device. The phone does get warm when under heavy load however with Xiaomi’s patented cooling technology the Mi Note Pro will have its temperature reduced within a few minutes.

In the keynote, Xiaomi presented benchmark results from CFBench and Antutu and reveals that the Mi Note Pro outperforms both the HTC One M9 and the LG G Flex 2, which both have Snapdragon 810 SoCs and the Mi Note Pro gets the performance advantage thanks to its 4GB RAM. The Mi Note Pro is certainly an exciting device as this is the first Snapdragon 810 powered smartphone with the most amount of RAM similar to the ASUS ZenFone 2, which will be launched this weekend. Is the Mi Note Pro as powerful as the company claims in the real world? We shall find out once Mi Malaysia passes us the device.
