Xiaomi is apparently working on refreshing their Mi MIX FOLD smartphone – a device that was launched back in April, but remained exclusively available in its native China.
The new iteration will reportedly now sport a 90Hz refresh rate on the internal screen, and a 120Hz refresh rate on the external one – this is an improvement over the original’s 60/90Hz displays.
Elsewhere, the new Mi MIX FOLD is expected to support up to 120W of fast charging, and a 5,000mAh battery – we’ve seen this battery and charging speed combination before on the Xiaomi 11T Pro, and that device could be charged up to full in just 17 minutes.
There are reports on whether its internals or cameras will change – but since this is a refresh, it makes sense that the features mentioned above are the only additions.
With the growing the Samsung Galaxy Fold3 growing in popularity in the country, we’re hoping Xiaomi will bring their new Mi Mix device into the local market.
