If, for some reason, you don’t have a Netflix account yet but are considering subscribing for the service, then you’ll be glad to know Netflix is letting non-subscribers watch some of their original programs without actually signing up yet.
This isn’t like a free trial where you still need to sign up your e-mail address – this really just lets you go to their website, using a desktop web browser, and watch a list of shows and movies on there to see if you like it or not.
- Some of the titles you can watch are:
- Stranger Things
- Our Planet
- Bird Box
- The Two Popes
- When They See Us
The catch is, you can only watch the first episode of any series – but the three movies available for free are there to be watched in full. We don’t know why this is, but we ain’t complaining either.
We think this is a neat way entice people to subscribe – completely no strings attached; if the marketing ploy has got you hook, line, and sinker, Netflix’s subscription plans are as follows:
- Mobile, RM17 (SD quality, for mobile users)
- Basic, RM35 (SD quality, watch on 1 screen at a time)
- Standard, RM45 (HD quality, watch on 2 screens at a time)
- Premium, RM55 (Ultra HD quality, watch on 4 screens at a time)
Visit Netflix’s website here to catch your free shows and films, or here to sign up.
