vivo Malaysia has officially unveiled the vivo Y36 5G, it is the brand’s most affordable 5G smartphone to date that retails at just RM1,099, it even comes with a Malaysia tourist spot inspired Semporna Green color, alongside with a Mystic Black color option, this phone has quite a lot to offer for the money you are paying.
Powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 6020 chipset, the vivo Y36 is the first phone of its category to be equipped with this processor and comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, its RAM can be further expanded to an additional 8GB for running more background apps, but it doesn’t offer MicroSD storage expansion.
The phone features a 6.64-inch FHD+ IPS display that refreshes at 60Hz with a punch hole cutout that houses a 16MP shooter, while it features a mono loudspeaker that has an Audio Booster feature that further increases volume.
On the rear, the vivo Y36 5G features the familiar 50MP main + 2MP depth camera setup, while the main camera supports up to 1080p 60 fps video recording.
Battery life is going to be impressive with a 5000mAh battery and it supports 44W vivo FlashCharge, which gets up to 50% from 0% in just 30 minutes, the phone will also thankfully support USB PD charging if you don’t have its charging brick.
The vivo Y36 5G can now be purchased at vivo’s official E-Store, Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop and authorized dealers nationwide, customers will receive a 1-year extended warranty, vivo TWS earphones, a phone holder and 60% off color earphone when they purchase the phone from 13th-16th June 2023.
