Vivo S7 5G launched in China: comes with 44MP dual selfie lens + Snapdragon 765G

The vivo S7 5G is now launched in its native china and as its name suggests, it’s yet another mid-ranger with 5G capabilities – this comes after the recent launch of the upper-midrange vivo X50 series which also comes 5G support.

The vivo S7 5G comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with HDR support and 98.5% NTSC colour coverage. There’s a dual punch-hole notch placed right in the middle of the phone’s top bezel – reminiscent of an iPhone.

Here, you get a whopping 44MP main selfie lens that’s accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide shooter for wider wefies. The back-facing cameras are no slouch either – the main lens is a 64MP shooter that’s placed alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Under the hood is a very capable Snapdragon 765G chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Powering the device is a 4,000mAh battery and 33W of fast charging, plus the 11V3A charging brick also comes in the box.

The phone is available this August 8 in China, and comes in three colours – black, white, and Monet (a blue-purple gradient inspired by Claude Monet’s paintings). The 128GB model is priced at CNY2,800 (RM1,691) while the 256GB variant will set you back CNY3,100 (RM1,872). It’s not officially here in Malaysia yet, but we’ll keep you updated when it is.
