Pavilion was in an uproar as Vivo had a big celebration for the launch of their beautiful bezeless Vivo V7 and V7+ phones. This is the latest member in the V series of phones from the company which also comes with a 24MP front-facing camera to ensure that your selfie game is always on par.
Under the hood, you will be getting a 5.99-inch HD screen, Snapdragon 450 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
You will also be getting the latest Android 7.1.1 straight out of the box and with it, there is the Funtouch 3.2 interface on top of the OS which looks very clean and nice.
The front-facing camera is the highlight of the phone as it is not only a high-quality shooter but it has a lot of fun features like the Face Beauty 7.0, which brightens up and creates even complexion in selfies even in low light. Other than that, there is also the Portrait Mode which will blur the background around the subject and there is a Live Photo mode which is similar to what can be done on the iPhone. On the rear camera, there is a 16MP camera which even if it’s lesser than the front camera, it still takes very decent shots.
Other interesting features are the Smart Split 3.0 will allow you to run two apps side-by-side by swiping down with three fingers and Face Access, which will use your face to unlock the phone. We got to test the Face Access out and I have to say, it is a very accurate and fast but we are still not sure how well it works in low light. We will know more when we eventually get the review unit.
The Vivo V7+ will be available on 29 September 2017 in Crown Gold and Matte Black, it will retail for RM1,499 at all Vivo concept stores, partner stores and e-commerce marketplaces.
