With the Surface Pro 8 officially going on sale today at all authorized IT retailers in Malaysia, Microsoft has initiated preorders for the Surface Laptop Studio, a powerful laptop that’s announced alongside the Surface Pro 8 and Surface Go 3.
The Surface Laptop Studio is the most powerful Surface that Microsoft has ever built, it features a 14.4-inch PixelSense flwo display with a 120Hz refresh rate that can be used in three different modes all thanks to the Dynamic Woven Hinge, it can be used as a laptop, a drawing and a presentation device, though it is a rather hefty device that weighs up to 1.8kg.
Powered by 11th Gen Intel H series processors, the Surface Laptop Studio is available in Core i5-11300H and Core i7-11370H processor models with the latter having equipped with RTX 3050Ti Laptop GPU, it comes with 16GB of RAM as standard and the Core i7 model will have 512GB of SSD storage, an exclusive Core i5 model that comes with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD can be purchased at Harvey Norman if you are interested, Microsoft claims up to 19 hours of battery life for the Core i5 model and 18 hours on the Core i7.
New Microsoft Concierge Service
In addition to this announcement, Microsoft is working with Gloo by SNS Network and Harvey Norman to have a Microsoft Concierge service in Low Yat Plaza and Pavilion Bukit Jalil 2 respectively, where customers can seek advice on the right Microsoft Surface and Windows devices to buy, while receive assistance in setting up their new devices or upgrading them to Windows 11.

The Surface Laptop Studio will be generally available starting 8 March onwards at retailers such as ALL IT, Gloo by SNS Network, Harvey Norman, Lazada-Microsoft Authorised store, PC Image, Senheng, Shopee-Microsoft Authorised store and TMT by Thundermatch, here are the price and specs:
