Next week is going to be a week full of smartphone launches, and one of them is the realme X2 Pro — the brand’s flagship device.

Although the realme X2 Pro is arriving in Malaysia next week, it has already been launched in several other countries so we pretty much know all about it — except for its local pricing. The realme X2 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen topped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Being a flagship device, the realme X2 Pro also has a 90Hz fluid display that is reported to offer a 50% increase in frame rate.

Available in Neptune Blue and Lunar White, this phone has a 3D glass back that utilises nanomachine technology to produce a shiny light effect on its back. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor that is improved to be able to unlock the phone in just 0.23 second, in addition to the dual stereo speakers that supports Dolby Atmos. Needless to say, realme is really pulling out all the big guns with the X2 Pro.

Equipped within the phone is the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. However, we can’t be sure if all variant will be available in the Malaysian market. That being said, the realme X2 Pro will be housing a huge 4,000mah battery that supports 50W SuperVOOC Flash Charge — this is faster than many other fast charging technology out there.

As seen in images, there’s a quad camera setup on the rear of the realme X2 Pro. There aren’t many 64MP camera smartphones in Malaysia yet, which will make the realme X2 Pro a more attractive option when it reaches here. It is also accompanied by a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP wide angle lens and a 2MP portrait lens. This camera setup will also be integrated with Super Nightscape for higher quality lowlight photos and 20X Hybrid Zoom. As for its front camera, realme will be inserting a 16MP camera that will also support Super Nightscape for better lowlight selfies.
