The Galaxy S7 series by Samsung is now the company’s sole 2016 flagship, after it stopped producing the Galaxy Note 7 due to explosion and fire incidents clouding the infamous phablet. Over the last couple of months, the Galaxy S7 has been launched in a series of new colors including Pink Gold and Coral Blue. This time, the Korean manufacturer has launched a pink model of the Galaxy S7. There’s no catch to it, just pure pink, without a touch of gold this round.
According to tech news outlet Tech Grapple, Samsung has listed a pink color option for the Galaxy S7 on its South Korean website. Local consumers often get the first cut of something new so it wouldn’t be surprising if the pink variant of the Galaxy S7 remains exclusive for the South Korean market in the foreseeable future. This new pink model will carry the same price tag as the other colors of the S7, so that’s another piece of good news.
One thing to note however, is that the pink variant of the Galaxy S7 is only available for the 32GB storage configuration of the handset. It appears that buyers won’t have the pink color option available to choose if they opt for the 64GB storage configuration. On top of that, the pink edition of the Galaxy S7 only happens to be limited to the standard model of the S7, meaning that the larger and curved edge sceen S7 Edge doesn’t have a pink model. Hence, if you’re able to get your hands on the South Korean variant of the Galaxy S7 have the desire for a pink handset, the standard Galaxy S7 with 32GB storage seems to be the sole option for you.
