Microsoft has announced that the new Surface Pro 8 is now available for pre-order in Malaysia via commercial authorized resellers and authorized retailers.
With prices starting at RM4,950, the Surface Pro 8 is equipped with 11th Gen Intel® Core™ processors built on the Intel® Evo™ platform and equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 ports. It comes with Windows 11 and a battery life of up to 16 hours.
The device features a vibrant 13” PixelSense touchscreen that is virtually edge to edge, with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. In the era of virtual meetings, the 5MP front-facing camera, 10MP-4K rear-facing camera, Dolby® Atmos™ sound, and dual far-field Studio Mics ensure users look and sound their best at all times.
The Surface Pro 8 combines the power of a laptop with the flexibility of a tablet, with an iconic Kickstand and detachable Surface Pro Signature Keyboard that provides both storage and charging for the Surface Slim Pen 2.
On the topic of the Surface Slim Pen 2, it comes equipped with haptic feedback and replicates the experience of a real pen with a slim carpenter-inspired style, while a sharper pen tip offers exceptional accuracy.
It is also equipped with a zero force inking feature that allows instant ink flow the moment the Slim Pen 2 touches the screen. Users can also flip the Slim Pen 2 around to use the tail button and eraser function, much like a real pen. Best of all, it works across the entire portfolio of ink-enabled Surface devices, allowing more users to enjoy the power and precision of the new Slim Pen 2.
Surface Pro 7+
The Surface Pro 7+ has been available for Malaysian commercial and education customers since February 2021, but beginning from 8 February onwards, it is now available for general consumers as well.
With both USB-A and USB-C ports, Surface Pro 7+ offers the adaptability to dock into external displays and leverage the needed peripherals for a full workstation setup. The device integrates front and rear facing cameras with 1080p full HD video along with Dolby Atmos speakers and dual far-field Studio Microphones.

The Surface Pro 8 and Pro 7+ will be generally available from 15 February and 8 February respectively via commercial authorized reseller, Maxis; and authorized retailers such as All IT, Gloo by SNS Network, Harvey Norman, Lazada-Microsoft Authorised store, PC Image, Senheng, Shopee-Microsoft Authorised store and TMT by Thundermatch.
With every purchase of Surface Pro 8 during pre-order, authorized retailers will be giving away Surface Pro Signature Keyboard (worth RM699). Authorized retailers will also be giving away additional free gifts worth up to RM1,499 while stocks last.
