In the race of getting the best live stories app out, Snap has rolled out another update to their app that will bring in backdrops, discrete voice-filter option and a way to add links to images and videos.
The backdrop option will allow you to add an image behind people, adding more flair to your Snaps. To try this feature out, after you have taken a photo, tap the scissors icon in the right toolkit and select the new Backdrop icon, then trace out what you want to be in the foreground and select your backdrop. The choices of backdrops will be rotated daily making it constantly unique.
Voice filters are not new, but now it’s not limited to the Lenses feature, after recording a Snap, press the speaker icon and select from a range of voices, from a chipmunk to a robot. Lastly, Paperclip allows users to attach a link to their snaps by tapping the paperclip icon on the toolkit. Viewers can then swipe up and the link will be displayed in the app itself.
If you want to take advantage of these features, then make sure your app is updated by checking the status in the Play Store or App Store depending on which device you are using.
