Having a 128GB MicroSD card introduced a few months back is already exaggerating enough, Sandisk just simply can’t stop here and they’ve introduced the world’s first 512GB SDXC Card onto its Extreme Pro family. Similar to other storage options, the new 512GB Extreme Pro SDXC card will be able to record 4K videos up to 95 MB/s read speed and 90 MB/s write speed. The price for the 512GB SDXC card isn’t cheap though and will sell at $799.99 (RM2430), you can pretty much buy a SSD, new camera, or even a decent PC with that price.
So, when shall we see a MicroSD card boasting a 512GB storage? Bring it on, Sandisk.
