It’s official, in three weeks’ time, Samsung will be officially announcing the Galaxy Note 7 at the company’s Unpacked 2016 event.

Held in New York City on the 2nd of August, this event will showcased the Galaxy Note 7 in all its glory. Also confirmed is the fact that the Samsung will indeed be skipping a number for its Note-series of smartphones in order to keep it up to date with its S-series counterpart. Most of the details regarding the Note 7 has been leaked out over the course of the past few months but for those who missed it, here’s a rundown of what we know of the Note 7 thus far.

For one, the phone will be sporting a 5.7″ QHD Super AMOLED dual-curved display, much like the ones found on the Galaxy S6 Edge and the S7 Edge. Other specifications that we do know about the Note 7 includes 64GB of storage space with microSD support, a 12MP rear camera with dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus, a 5MP front camera, an iris scanner, and an IP68 rating. Although nothing specific has been revealed just yet, Samsung did tease that the S Pen and the screen of the Note 7 will receive some added functionality.

So if you’re anticipating the release of the Note 7, mark the date on your calendar.
