This is it folks – the Samsung Galaxy S20 series will be launched this February 11 at Samsung’s Unpacked event.
It’s not official per se but a leaked promo ad shared by Max Weinbach details a teaser for samsung’s flagship as well as the launch date.

If you’re confused as to why it isn’t called the Galaxy S11 – well, as we’ve covered previously, Samssung will look to the Galaxy S20 as a “new beginning” of sorts for the series since it coincides with the year 2020 and all.
How will they look like?
Previous reports suggest that there will be three variants in the line-up – 6.4-inches, 6.5-inches and 6.9-inches. The smaller two variants will support both 5G and LTE connectivity, while the largest device will only come with 5G.
Moving to the back, the phone will also sport a rectangualr camera module with its quad-camera setup placed in an ‘L’ shape. With the Samsung Bright ISOCELL HMX sensor already out, we could see the series adopt it too, meaning it’s capable of 108MP photography as well as 8K videography.
What else will Samsung launch?
Well, there’s been talk of the Galaxy Fold 2, which should take on a more clam-shell fold mechanism. This isn’t as concrete of a rumour, but we’re not writing off the possibility of an appearance at this year’s Unpacked just yet.
It can be confirmed that the Galaxy Fold2 leaked not long ago will use an ultra-thin glass cover for the first time in the world, replacing plastic materials. The screen looks flatter and has less wrinkles. In fact, this is the correct cover material for foldable phones. pic.twitter.com/BS73BCsA4N

We don’t know where the event will be held this year, but Weinbach has speculated San Francisco to be the venue of choice. Let us know what you think about the Samsung Galaxy S20 and if you’re excited for it – we know we are!
