Earlier this week, Razer has teased an upcoming product which will rock the mobile gaming world. The company will likely launch a smartphone centered on gaming, and a benchmark result on GFXBench further confirms earlier claims of a mobile device by Razer.

Based on the GFXBench result seen above, Razer definitely isn’t taking its first attempt very lightly. The stated specs show that the company will want its first ever smartphone to live up to current flagships out in the market as well.

First off, the Razer Phone will sport a QHD+ display measuring at 5.7-inches, with a 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset’s screen will probably be surrounded by minimal bezels like the Galaxy S8 and LG G6. The Razer Phone will also pack a whopping 8GB of RAM, which is still a rarity in smartphones, with the likes of the OnePlus 5 and the ASUS ZenFone AR carrying the same amount of RAM. Both the display and the amount of RAM can be directly attributed to gaming and VR/AR capabilities.

Onboard the software, the Razer Phone will run on its own version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Cameras aren’t a slouch too with a 12MP rear shooter and an 8MP selfie snapper. Seems very promising so far for a first smartphone. What do you think?
