The Razer Kishi that was showcased during CES 2020 is now available for Android users; the Razer Kishi for iOS will be available in summer 2020.

Controls

The Razer Kishi is a gaming controller for smartphones that comes with clickable analog thumbsticks, function buttons, an 8-way D-pad, triggers and bumpers. As it connects via Type-C/Lightning connector, it can offer ultra-low latency gameplay for a smooth experience.

Design

The Razer Kishi also has a flexible design that makes it a universal fit for different devices. It has an ergonomic handheld grip to allow longer gaming sessions, and users can also charge their device through the controller if the battery is running low. However, it is not possible to connect headsets to the Razer Kishi — the port is only meant for charging purposes.

This controller can also be collapsed to be kept properly when not in use, and only weighs about 159g. There are two latches at the back that keeps the controller ‘closed’; release them and stretch out the controller to insert your phone in between.

Pricing and availability

The Razer Kishi for Android will be available on June 27 at the price of RM389 at selected retail stores. An iPhone version will arrive much later, but it should be priced the same.
