Oppo F9 is now open for pre-orders with a price of RM1,399

Oppo has officially introduced the Oppo F9 in Malaysia, the direct successor to the Oppo F7 which comes with improved cameras, and better VOOC fast charging.

The phone comes equipped with a MediaTek P60 processor which is said to be on par with the mid-range Snapdragon processors, and it is also a power efficient processor. Other than that it comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be extended to 256GB without using up a SIM card slot. In the camera department, the rear houses a 16MP sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP sensor which is used to calculate depth to offer better bokeh shots. On the front is a 25MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture, it also supports face unlock aside from the fingerprint sensor on the back.

Oppo has also mentioned that they have improved its VOOC charging which can now give the phone 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charging it. The phone supports charging of 20 watts which is one of the highest charging rates for a phone.

The Oppo F9 will be open for pre-orders starting 16 August 2018 to 29 August 2018 on Oppo’s Official Concept Stores and authorised dealers or from their official online partners like Lazada, 11street and Shopee for RM1,399. Pre-order customers can pick up their phones on 30 August 2018 when it officially releases.
