Oppo has officially launched a new addition to its F-series with the Oppo F7. Oppo is using AI to enhance how we take pictures and take smartphone technology to the next level. The phone also uses AI to improve selfie photography in addition to many other AI enabled features.
The main feature of the phone is its 24MP high-resolution camera, pictures taken has a higher-range of details, luminance and colour levels, whether its shot in bright or dark areas. The HDR capabilities alongside the AI Beauty 2.0 allow the phone to make improved age and gender beautification effects. A.I. Beauty 2.0 technology scans 296 facial points, allowing for accurate facial recognition capabilities. This allows the phone to detect the person’s age, gender, skin colour and skin type to fine-tune the selfie image when taken. Users can also use AR Stickers to add more fun to your selfies, adding things like cute animals or a movie star like features.
The Oppo F7 comes with a 6.2-inch FHD+ Super Full View Screen, which gives more colourful, vivid and immersive viewing experience. The screen is also a 19:9 aspect ratio screen, giving you more room to enjoy your video content and gaming. Other than that, it comes equipped with a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a MediaTek Helio P60 processor. Powering the device is a 3400mAh battery and Android 8.1 alongside ColorOS 5.0 which uses AI for better system management.
The Oppo F7 comes in three colours, Solar Red, Moonlight Silver, and a special Diamon Black edition, it will be officially available on 21 April 2018 and will be priced at RM1,399.
