Another software update has hit the OnePlus 3, the phone which was discontinued by its maker in US and European markets to make way for the OnePlus 3T. Before you get excited, this isn’t an Android Nougat update for the handset, just the usual software update with some added features on top of general improvements. OnePlus has recently announced that Android Nougat will be heading to both the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T some time next month so this software update might be the last of Marshmallow.

OnePlus has begun rolling out Oxygen OS version 3.2.8 for the OnePlus 3. The incremental update includes a couple of fixes, improvements and some additional features. On top of general bug fixes and increased system stability, notable ones include 1080p video recording at 60 FPS and better optimization of Snapchat. Snapchat has been sluggish all this while on the OnePlus 3, so that’s great news for OnePlus 3 users. Apart from that, the software update has also added emergency calling for users in India, which can be triggered by triple pressing the power button.

As usual, the rollout is gradual, meaning that it will reach a small percentage of users before getting a wider roll out in the days to come. Have you received your copy of Oxygen OS 3.2.8? Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
