After over a month, OnePlus finally introduced the OnePlus Nord and the OnePlus Buds in Malaysia.
OnePlus Nord
The OnePlus Nord is OnePlus’ first midrange phone and sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It uses a Snapdragon 765G chipset that comes with 5G connectivity and promises 35% better power consumption as compared to the Snapdragon 730G chip.Â
There are two storage configurations — 8GB RAM paired with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM paired with 256GB storage. It also comes with a 4,115mAh battery featuring Warp Charge 30T, allowing the device to charge from 0% to 70% in just half an hour.
The OnePlus Nord has six cameras in total — four at the back and two on the front. It is equipped with a 48MP quad camera paired with an 8MP ultra wide lens, a 5MP depth camera and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, it comes with a 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor and another 8MP ultra wide lens.
The OnePlus Nord is available in Gray Onyx and Blue Marble.
OnePlus Buds
One of the main highlights of the OnePlus Buds is the Warp Charge technology. These earbuds can offer 10 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging and when used with the case, it has up to 30 hours of battery life. There’s also environment noise cancellation to eliminate background noise during phone calls.
The OnePlus Buds also has a 13.44mm driver that offers deeper bass; OnePlus claims that it’ll provide better overall sound too. There are two controls — double tapping and long pressing — and each can be customisable according to the user’s preference.Â
Price and availability
The OnePlus Nord (12GB + 256GB) and OnePlus Buds can be purchased together at the price of RM2,399 on August 25 during Shopee’s exclusive sale. However, you can also purchase the OnePlus Buds on its own for RM399 on Shopee.
For those interested in the lower variant OnePlus Nord, you can get it for RM1,799 on Shopee’s first online sale today at 1pm or offline at any OnePlus authorised dealer from August 22 onwards.
