Earlier this month, OnePlus brought back its Soft Gold color option that was present with the OnePlus 3T to its latest OnePlus 5 flagship. The Soft Gold color is an addition to the Midnight Black and Slate Gray color options of the OnePlus 5.
Previously, the the 8GB RAM/128GB storage OnePlus 5 was previously only available in Midnight Black, leaving the 6GB RAM/64GB storage models of the flagship in Slate Gray and recently Soft Gold. But now OnePlus has updated its official online store, making the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant of the OnePlus 5 available in Slate Gray as well. While Midnight Black might be the more popular color option due to the popularity of it with the limited edition OnePlus 3T, there are definitely OnePlus fans who would want the higher end variant of the company’s 2017 flagship in a lighter Slate Gray color as well.
Just to recap, the OnePlus 5 sports an Optic AMOLED 5.5-inch Full HD display, with a sleek metal chassis. The phone is powered by the go to flagship processor of the year – the Snapdragon 835 and comes in either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage respectively as mentioned earlier. The handset features a 20MP + 16MP dual rear camera setup with 2X optical zoom and a 16MP selfie camera on the front. It packs a 3,300mAh battery.
We’re not certain as to whether the Slate Gray high end OnePlus 5 model will be made available here through Brightstar Malaysia, but one on OnePlus’ online store still goes by the same price tag.
