Recently, we got to know that the OnePlus 3 might start at a lower price point than the OnePlus 2 was when it was launched last year. Leaked specs tell us that this upcoming flagship by the Chinese startup will pack quite a punch and according to MyDrivers, the OnePlus 3 will come with fast charging capabilities.
The OnePlus One and 2 both did not support fast charging, although their processors are quick charge capable. The OnePlus 3 is said to be borrowing Oppo’s Super VOOC Flash Charge technology, which Oppo launched this year. The existence of OnePlus can be related to Oppo, since OnePlus CEO and founder Pete Lau was with Oppo for over a decade. We’re not sure on how the arrangement was made between both OEM’s, but it’s definitely good news that the OnePlus 3 will support fast charging.
New leaks about the OnePlus 3’s specs are also out, with the handset sporting a more realistic 5.5-inch Full HD display, based on the displays of its predecessors, rather than a 5-incher. The rest of the specs remain the same from previous leaks, with two variants of the device – either 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage respectively. Both models will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC and a 3,300mAh battery. Also, a 16MP/8MP primary and selfie camera pair. We will be expecting the OnePlus 3 to be launched some time in June or July. What do you think?
