If you’re a Netflix user then this may be a rather important news to you — Netflix will no longer be available to certain devices after December 1, 2019.

Netflix has supported many devices, but next month onwards, some of the Samsung TVs and Roku media players will no longer work with Netflix. According to Netflix’s help page, devices that doesn’t support the app will display an error message that says, “Due to technical limitations, Netflix will no longer be available on this device after December 1st, 2019. Please visit netflix.com/compatibledevices for a list of available devices.”

If you’re one of the affected users, Netflix suggests that you switch to another device that is Netflix-supported before December 1. Samsung has also mentioned in its forums that older TVs such as those with C or D in its model code or 2010/2011 models are most likely to stop supporting Netflix.

Not to worry though, if you have a game console, streaming media player or a set-top box, then you won’t have to worry about being unable to stream Netflix.
