MSI’s presence in our homeland may just be all about gaming motherboards and laptops, the Taiwanese firm does have some interesting products here in COMPUTEX and we checked out the Cubi series mini PC, and as it name suggests, this is a very cute machine but packs some serious hardware under the hood. The Cubi series Mini PC is powered by Intel’s 5th Generation Core processors, it has 4GB of RAM, 128GB m-SATA SSD and supports one 2.5-inch hard drive, display output resolution of up to 4K, and supports Intel’s vPro technology that enables easy management and advanced security features in enterprise environments.

Despite being small, the Cubi has four USB 3.0 ports (two rear and two front), one Gigabit LAN port, one mini DisplayPort, and has built-in 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, which is very much a complete package that would serve well for congested workspace and you can even mount it on the back of your monitor.

The Cubi should be making its way to Malaysia in the coming months and will challenge competitors such as ASUS’s Vivo PC, Intel’s NUC and other small sized computers, we look forward to its arrival soon.
