While we still don’t even see a Surface Pro 2 over here, Microsoft has announced their latest Surface Pro 3 in New York City today and it’s going to destroy notebooks in the market with its stunning form factor and internals. Like all Surface predecessors, the new Surface Pro 3 still has a kickstand and has an amazing thickness of only 9.1mm 12-inch screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio HD display, and weighs only 800 grams. The Surface Pro 3 could probably resolve people’s broken decision on choosing a tablet or laptop.
Microsoft has made sure that the new form factor is able to include the latest Core i7 processors and a good cooling system for the Surface Pro 3 with its refined chassis, it still includes a fan but you no longer see the fan ridge that is used to be seen on the Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2. The new kickstand on the tablet supports a 150 degree angle and the new type cover has a larger trackpad this time.
Pricing of the Surface Pro 3 is still unknown but we hope it stays less than RM3000 when it is launched here. Microsoft Malaysia, please make this happen.
UPDATE: According to our friends at Lowyat.NET, the Surface Pro 3 is expected to land here at the end of August.
