Meizu has launched another handset, with signs that the company is doing just fine back in homeland China. The Meizu M6 is an entry level smartphone that isn’t at all flashy or highly spec-ed, but comes with a price tag that justifies it all.

First things first, the Meizu M6 comes with a 5.2-inch display on the front, at 720p HD resolution, which is definitely something to expect from most entry level devices. Underneath the hood sits an octa core MediaTek MT6750 chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz, alongside with an option for 2GB or 3GB of RAM with 16GB or 32GB of storage space respectively.

The rear camera remains at 13 megapixels just like on its predecessor the Meizu M5, but with improved HDR capabilities and noise reduction, the rear shooter should provide a decent punch. The front camera has also been upgraded to 8 megapixels for more sharp and crisp selfie images. The handset comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button on the front, and packs a decent sized 3,070mAh battery that is charged via the micro USB port.

The Meizu M6 will be a China exclusive device for the time being, and carries a price tag starting from an extremely affordable 699 CNY (RM 445.23).
