MacBook Air 2022 renders leaked: No notch and new colors?

Earlier this year, Apple had released the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBooks that housed the new M1 Max and M1 Pro chips. That left consumers wondering when the new MacBook Air would be announced. Now we have finally got a first look at what we should expect. Leaks have surfaced of the new device, with the controversial change to not add a camera notch.

Renders of the device were released by a popular tipster, @LeaksApplePro, which showed the overall design that we should expect. The biggest visual change that was shown was the bezel and color of the device. The bezels are now white and look similar to the new iMacs. It also seems like the Air will be available in new colors and not the normal rose gold, silver, and space grey.  The one that was shown in the tweet came in a light blue colorway.

But the biggest reveal, however, probably comes with the choice to not add a camera notch. Users had many complaints about the bezel, saying that it had many glitches with the new MacBook Pro, while others say that it was good because of the bigger screen. So we will have to see if Apple will end up adding the notch, as other sources show the upcoming MacBook Air to include a bezel.

It is important to keep in mind that all of the new MacBook Air leaks have not been officially announced by Apple, and this is only a brief look at what we should expect. We did not get any specifications about the laptop so be sure to look out for more updates on the device from us.
