KONE brings connected DX Class Elevators to Malaysian buildings

KONE has introduced its latest DX Class elevators to Malaysian buildings, these elevators aim to offer a digitally connected experience to customers with integrations to various smart solutions and services. DX Class elevators can be experienced in several notable buildings in Malaysia, such as Menara Binjai, Maxis Tower, TRX Residence and the upcoming Merdeka 118 skyscraper.

KONE has shared several use cases that the DX Class elevators can do, such as integrating with a room service robot in a hotel that communicates with the lift to reach the guest’s floor and room, and home owners being able to schedule the time their visitors arrive with their smartphones and have the lift reach the floor upon their arrival.

With its smart connectivity features, KONE DX Class elevators allow customers to tailor and plugin additional software and services throughout the ownership, the company also offers an open API that allows any third party solutions to be integrated with their elevators, which can potentially realise multisensory experiences in the elevator by combining physical hardware and digital services.

Furthermore, the DX Class elevators come with KONE’s 24/7 Connected Services that uses data from the cloud to provide predictive maintenance, which can identify potential problems and allow customers to quickly take action to prevent breakdowns.

KONE Malaysia aims to bring its DX Class elevators to more smart buildings in Malaysia and welcomes more partner integrations to create a safe and smart elevator experience, visit here to find out more about the KONE DX Class elevators.
