The wait is over, as HTC Malaysia introduces the long awaited HTC Butterfly 2 into the Malaysian market, the Butterfly line up has always been HTC’s real flagship, though it doesn’t feature a metal body like the One M8 but it certainly packs some different but still powerful hardware internals onboard.
The HTC Butterfly 2 brings back the IPx7-certified water resistant feature which is missing from last year’s Butterfly S, which has been a highlight feature of the original model. Hardware power maintains very much the same like the One M8 which includes the Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz Quad-Core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of Internal Storage with MicroSD expansion and 5” Full HD display. The only difference this time is that the Butterfly 2 features a 13 Megapixel f/2.0 BSI camera with a Duo camera similar to the One M8 and a larger battery at 2700mAh.
According to our post last time, the HTC Butterfly 2 comes with JBL earphones in the package and we’re not really sure if this is available in the Malaysian variant, the phone comes in Canvas White and Rouge Red at RM2,299 and is available now.
And yes…Nogizaka46 continues to rule in HTC Butterfly commercials.
