Apparently, Huawei has an “upcoming breakthrough technology” that was rumoured to be in an Honor phone. It looks like that might actually be true, Honor has sent out a save-the-date for its Honor Play which is said to come with mentioned breakthrough technology.
The phone is said to come with groundbreaking 4D gaming experience based on AI as well as their signature AI cameras. Up until now, no one knows what this breakthrough technology is and whether it is software or hardware based, but Chairman of Huawei Device, Yu Chengdong, has described the technology to be as different as “running on the ground and flying in the sky”. A pretty bold statement, we assume this has probably something to do with their software or their new Kirin processors.
Huawei will be showcasing their new technology in an event that is taking place today, we should know more about technology this in the next few days. It is also surprising that we are seeing a breakthrough technology in an Honor phone, as Huawei and Honor always seem to be competing with each other, rather than against the competition.
