Google are reportedly gearing up to launch their own foldable smartphone too – this new revelation comes after the company showed off its upcoming Google Pixel 6 a week ago.
Oriole, Raven, Passport, “Slider” are 4 out of 5 devices that have a modem referenced as “g5123b”. The most recent Samsung Exynos (“shannon”) modem is 5123A. Can’t confirm the last one right now.

Aptly dubbed the Google Pixel Fold, proof of its existence was spotted by prominent Google camera modder cstark27 who noticed the word “Passport” while delving into the Android 12 code. Passport is known to be a codename for the brand’s foldable products.
With Android arriving by the end of the year alongside the Pixel 6 series of flagships, there’s cause of believe that the Pixel Fold will be unveiled around the same time too – perhaps even alongside its Pixel 6 counterparts.
The Pixel Fold has been a long time coming – earliest mentions of the product date back to August 2020 when an Internal Google document was surfaced.
If these reports and suspected launch date are true, then we won’t have to wait long now for us to see how it stacks up against Samsung’s very impressive Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 phones.
